Forerunner 645 firmware 7.20 errors

I have multiple users complaining watchfaces are showing the IQ! symbol since their firmware update to 7.20. But I don't see any reports in ERA... Any others that experience the same? Wondering why it's suddenly crashing since that update.

it never happens also on mine but I've seen a lot of thread about this on social network and everytime solved with a reboot which is always higly recommanded agfter a fw update.

Thank you for sharing this error. I'm also just getting more info from users are willing to test side loaded debug versions that the fonts seem to be the issue. This is a huge problem for me as I seeing…

hi, many watchface crash after FW update, rebooting the device always fix it if nothing wrong on your side

I have never seen crash of my app after new FW update. So why it should happen?

Rebooting doesn't seem to help this time. I'm guessing a change of ConnectIQ API implementation. Something that's breaking the things I use in my code? But I have no clue what. If someone here has a FR645, that would be helpful, as it works fine in Simulator.

Could you update us when you find the issue? My watch is a Forerunner 645 and the pip-boy-ish watch face is having that error. I'd like to be able to help the developer out directly if possible.

This is a huge problem for me as I seeing more and more users complain, as all my watchfaces use custom fonts... And a reboot clearly doesn't solve this. This is an error from Garmin with the new firmware update.

According to my users' feedback (talking about Forerunner 645 Music firmware 7.20 only), restarting the watch doesn't help, reinstalling the app doesn't help.

On ERA it looks like there is a 'System Error' while trying to load a font resource. The error shows since 10 Feb 2023.
