Connect IQ Simulator is empty window

Do you see anything in the debug console?  You can also try just running your app again without closing the simulator.

Hi, there is nothing shown in the debug console. The figure i presented is all i can see...

And I have run this getting start tutorial without closing simulator/run in debug mode/run without debug mode.. 

and still empty window...

Jim Yeh, I'm wondering if the issue is the non-ascii characters in the project path. Can you try moving the project to a directory that has only ascii characters in the full path and try again?

After I reinstalled Monkey C (extensions in VScode) and tje newest jdk, it worked!

Just info for someone spending hours to make it work with VSCode and the plugin... I had the same problem, tries everything from forums. nothing worked... firewall oath etc... in windows 10 - nothing in logs etc....

I found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbdMNBYhQlk&t=68s showing Eclipse version plugin and it still works. NOT in new Eclipse .

I downloaded the same as in video eclipse-java-2020-03-R-win32-x86_64 and followed the video and i see the face watch in the simulator. on first RUN.

VSCode and the plugin has to go....  placing it here for someone having the same problem. 10+ hours spent...

I'm running fine with Eclipse 2022-12, win11 and McAfee.  I did have to set up the firewall to allow for the connection. .but that was a few years back (when I added McAfee)

Strange... I am receiving these errors in Eclipse 2022-12 when trying to install Connect IQ IDE and Connect IQ SDK manager...

I do not use Eclipse at all, so maybe it is just something from normal programing set.
