MacOS set BLE COM port on CIQ Simulator

What format are you using for the port? After some trial and error I just got this working -- the simulator wants the entire string "/dev/tty.usbmodemE94C4A8824452".

I have the same issue, no matter what Port I put in the simulator doesn't scan for BLE devices

What nordic hardware are you using?

Yes, but I couldn't install JLink 6.22g as suggested in this doc so I went and got the latest version for Mac, I'm using nRF52 and simulator port is set to "/dev/tty.usbmodem000622310060"

You then used nrfconnect to flash the board?

After flashing the board, did you unplug the HW and plug it back in? That way you are sure it's running the proper code.

Yes I did, Mac seem to recognise the board as JLINK and I can read the memory no problem, the only odd message I get is during the Programmer startup which says "Installed JLink version does not match the provided version (V7.80c)" but this doesn't stop me from flashing, another thing I noticed I used to be able to retrieve port by "ls /dev/tty.usbmodem*" but now it says "no matches found: /dev/tty.usbmodem*" - could this be a reason why I can't connect the sim?
