I have a datafield, it worked, I published it, and then continued to develop locally with lots of changes a and a few git commits. It seems that I changed something on the way and broke the fit contributor. When I use the DF in an activity I don't see any more anything from this DF in the Garmin Connect app.
OK, I thought I screwed up some part of the code, so I started debugging. After lot of time still no success. So I started to go back in my git history commit by commit and compile, side-load, disconnect, start an activity for a few seconds, stop the activity, wait 'till it syncs, then look in GC. And I can't seem to find any git commit that works. Even when I build from the git commit that is in the store it doesn't work this way. Only when I download the actual version from Connect IQ store it works.
What am I missing? Does fit contributor work similar to settings? That it only works if I publish it to the store?
