How long do I have to wait for a BETA app to appear in Connect IQ Store?

Am I doing something wrong?

As I'm forced by Garmin to upload my app to the store to be able to test the settings, this is what I do:

1. I export my app
2. upload MyApp.iq file to the store as BETA
3. give it a different version id than the previous one (BTW the same I also dump in manifest.xml)
4. hit publish
5. then write a few words in the "What's new" section
6. hit the Submit button

Am I being naive if I assume that a few seconds after I upload a BETA app, the newly uploaded version should appear in my Connect IQ Android app?
And I do see the text changes within seconds. But I'm waiting for hours to see (if at all?) the version to change.

Is there another/better/faster way to test settings? (nothing works in simulator...)

strange, It took 4 hours. Later, after another upload it took ~ 4 minutes.

flocsy🤠 Can you send the app ID of the app(s) you saw this with? I talked with our store team, and they said the security scanner checks every two minutes for apps to scan and that there should not be hours-long delays in beta apps becoming available. I f we have a specific app to look at, we might be able to determine the cause of the delay and fix any problems we find.

There was some problems whit server I think yesterday I've put new beta and took minutes

Good point - that may be what was happening. I appreciate your comments, though, since it at least shows it's likely not a general problem.

Brandon.ConnectIQ is there some rate limit?
I uploaded the same beta app and I could see it in the GC Mobile less than a minute later. But then I uploaded one more change a few minutes later and I wait for 10 minutes the newest version still doesn't show up in GC. Or is there some cron that processes these once an hour and it's a matter of luck how much I need to wait?

I think there is some problem with the pubishing. I uploaded a 3rd version and it appeared again within a minute. It looks like some versions get pblished and others not (or not within a reasonable time) Brandon.ConnectIQ it's still the same app: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/8cfc5bd9-0835-4522-b3a0-fd3dfbfc58d2 I uploaded:
0.3.0.8-BETA => 1 minute and saw it in GC android
0.3.0.9-BETA => did not show up for at least 15 minutes
0.3.0.10-BETA => after less then a minute it was there

I experience the same, I upload many betas when I'm testing and sometimes it's almost like they're backing up. Probably Garmin thinks I'm DDOSing the server...

In general, unless you are testing something specific with changing app testing, you may find it easier to just test with a sideload. If you "build for device" with debug symbols, you'll also get a friendly stack trace in ciq_log if something goes wrong, it's faster turn around, and if you do need to use specific settings, you can create the .set file in the sim can just copy that to the device.

Most initial testing can be done right in the sim, but there are cases where on device testing is needed and for most things a side load will allow that
