Settings in Groups are not persisted

Hi,

I made a watch face where I offer color settings to the user. I grouped all color settings in one group.

When I change the color settings in the group on the connectiq app it works fine and I can save it. But when I open the settings again, all the settings in the group are reset to their default value.

It does not happen with ungrouped settings. Is this a bug or is there a pitfall I don't know?

When you change the settings, do they take effect in your app? The reason I ask is there is a bug report where they aren't saved as they should be.

Yes they take effect as expected. I have no boolean properties grouped but multiple number type properties.

It is very weird. I can open the settings and as long as I do not enter the group, saving will not change anything on my watch (as expected). But once I enter the group and go back, saving will apply the default settings. It also displays the default colors in the group settings.

I'm using the latest SDK with epix gen2. I know system5 is not yet available for epix, are the groups also not supposed to be working?

CIQ 5 seems pretty neat. I hope Garmin releases it someday…

I think you mean System 5, which is CIQ 3.3.x or 4.1.x.. And it's already been released for a number of devices.

Odd, I’m not aware of *any* device that actually supports all the features promised by CIQ System 5.
