Can't build or debug VSCode project

I've been working on a datafield project in VSCode but for various reasons I didn't get a chance to look at it since before Xmas. So coming back to today I'm now getting the following errors every time I try and build or debug the project:

Workspace not found.

Connect IQ project not found. Be sure your project has a monkey.jungle file and the project's Jungle Files setting is correct.

I've no idea what the extension is trying to tell me and why it's just stopped working, there is a monkey.jungle file that hasn't changed from the one generated when I created the project. I'm running the lasted update to VSCode and Monkey C 1.0.1

I struggled a lot with this issue as well but finally found the solution. I was cloning a project from github with multiple subprojects and opening the root folder. The correct was clicking in Visual Studio…

Some additional information - if I create a new project then it all works properly. I can build and debug the new datafield; however the original datafield still won't compile.

I've compared the files manifest.xml and monkey.jungle between the working and broken projects and can't see any differences.

I'm getting this too on a git clone of an example project (which I presume should just build)

What are the paths involved with the project folders? Any spaces?

There are no spaces in the paths. In my case the path is:

C:\GarminDevelopment\repos\MBO\MBOCountdownStrict\MBOCountdownStrict

with the monkey.jungle and manifest.xml files both in the above directory.

Build Configurations vs Launch Condigurations

That page implies there should be a launch.json file - but there isn't one for either the working or not working project. I'm running the build with 'Build current project' and then selecting the device I want.

In VS Code, here's how to select/make a launch.json. Then to run it, use the run menu and select with or without debugging.

Well the issue appears to be with the directory level that you open at in VSCode. I've got an old version of my datafield that being being re-written as strict and I'm opening VSCode at the directory above both projects. This was fine in December when I last tried this. If I open VSCode at the directory level so there is just 1 project then it seems to allow me to build and run the code as expected.

Notice I've got lots of projects (the are all in the folder I use for eclipse.) What version of the VS Code extension are you using? The current is 1.0.1.
