how to add an image to my watch face and to learn the monkey C from zero?

Hi everyone, Im new to garmin and the watch faces and Im looking for creating my own watch face. Ive managed to get to the most basic watch face possible by using the connect IQ and eclipse by the guide here: https://developer.garmin.com/connect-iq/connect-iq-basics/your-first-app/ until the "Import and example" which I didnt understand (I added an image of what I got) . Im looking for the possibility to add an image to my project but I have no idea how to do so. also I feel like I cant learn the monkey C without knowing java/python or other programing language. Im also looking for a way to learn the monkey C without having a former knowledge in other programing language if it is possible.

As far as the sdk samples, they are in <sdk root>/samples.

On windows, those are under /users/<you>/appdata/roaming/garmin/connectiq/sdks

Also, look at the first post in https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/f/discussion/7961/overview-of-connect-iq-apps-accompanied-with-source-code and there's a link to a site with links to a whole bunch of apps.
