Users cannot update / install following latest upload.

Hi,
I have three mature apps that I have recently updated.

Since the update, people (myself included) have been having issues with updating the apps via ConnectIQ.

It goes something like this:

  • Garmin says app needs update
  • Click on the "update" button in ConnectIQ
  • Update starts...
  • App uninstalls...
  • Click on the "install" button in ConnectIQ
  • Prompt to allow permissions
  • Click OK to accept
  • Install starts...
  • Install fails

No clues are given in the app as to why.

Are there any logs I can check?

Is there any way I can debug this?

This is important as two out of the three apps are my favourite / most downloaded ones!

  • All of them went in first time using Garmin Express, but I am none the wiser as to why the updates crashed on both the ConnectIQ and Connect IOS apps. Disappointed

    Bumping this as more reports from customers. 

    The app has no apparent issues, no ERA and runs perfectly once installed, but last two or three updates (including move to SDK4) are much harder to update. 

    Typically, they require complete uninstall/reinstall to get Garmin to play nice - and even then it often needs Garmin Express. 

    Is there a reason why this has suddenly got so unreliable? As I say, no apparent issue with the apps themselves.
