I have connected my fr245m to the mac. How to find out the mount path?

Eclipse runs poorly, So I want to build with a makefile in vscode. But I can't find the mount point with the `df` command on my macOS, i.e. I am not able to deploy my prg with makefile without a destination directory.

Does your device support music?

If so, you need Android File Transfer or OpenMTP.

Oh, Sorry to miss my model. Mine is fr245m. I have installed Android File Transfer(AFT). I used to drag a compiled .prg file to a folder in AFT. But now I want to use a command to copy.

deploy: build
	@cp bin/$(appName).prg $(DEPLOY)

After plugging in my fr245m, the AFT window will pop up, but I can't find the path my device mounted to either icon in the Finder sidebar.

I think you would need to install an MTP FUSE file system driver like https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/simple-mtpfs, https://github.com/JasonFerrara/jmtpfs or whoozle.github.io/.../.

I don't have access to a Mac for personal use so I haven't tried any of these, but the last one (https://whoozle.github.io/android-file-transfer-linux/) has the most stars on github (it also has a UI, in addition to command line support, so maybe it's the best out of all of them.)

Garmin Express can't be running at the same time. Make sure you have that shut down.

Also, if you are using something like "build for device", build to your hard drive, and then copy the prg to your device.

Thanks a lot Jim. I know that. I used to build .prg and drag it into the APP folder in AFT. After migrating to vscode, I want to build from the command line. Right now, I can run from the command line, but can't build from it. I didn't find any more manual in detail excluding this forums.garmin.com/.../connect-iq-track-connect-iq-tools

If you're using VS Code, why not use that to "build for device"?

I failed to build the current project with vscode command.

So if you install https://whoozle.github.io/android-file-transfer-linux/, you're unable to use the FUSE interface as in the example?

What happens when you type CMD-SHIFT-P, "Open SDK manager"?

Does the SDK manager open?

Do any other Monkey C commands work?
