The new features in CIQ 3.2 are just awesome, but how is that possible that Fenix 6x watches are not on the list of supported devices? I hope it's just a typo...or?

For folks that din't go through the release of things like CIQ 3.0.0 and CIQ 3.1.0, here's what's happening.
The sim adds support for devices for a new version when the production firmware for that devices has the new CIQ. (it doesn't happen all at once, and can depend on the platform group's schedule.)
Right now, the sim supports 3.2 for the va4, va4s ,va3m and venu (and variants) because they have that production FW. The 945 and 245 just got the 5.00 FW with CIQ 3.2, but not in time for the SDK to reflect that.
So, you can build a sideload with 3.2 functions for the 945/245 and run it on the real device, but can't run it in the sim with those targets..
This is so you don't build an .iq for a device that doesn't yet have production FW with 3.2, put it in the store, and get complaints as the devices don't support the new functions.
Check "about" on your f6x and see what version of CIQ it has - if it's got CIQ 3.2, you can test sideloads.
And you can tell if you have production FW on the device (some groups issue betas) by checking the main FW version. Generally, if the last digit is "0" it's production, anything else is beta. (for example, x.74=beta, x.80=production)
I have asked, because I saw this in the main announcement of CIQ 3.2 (where Fenix 6x is missing!):
Connect IQ 3.2 is available today for the following devices:
Connect IQ 3.2 is coming soon for the following devices:
fēnix6/Pro/Solar Series
To me, that would include the f6x and f6s, pro and non pro, solar and non solar variants.
I also hope so!
Do you have an f6x? Check "about" on the device, and it may have CIQ 3.2. If it's not in production FW, check out the latest beta after the last production FW if there is one.
If you don't have one, maybe someone who does can check for you, but I'll say that I fully expect CIQ 3.2 to be coming to the f6 devices (all of them) soon.
Thanks! I'm currently not on BETA, so I have only CIQ 3.1.8 on my Tactix Delta (which is technically still Fenix 6x), but this is good reason for updating FW in advance. ;)
Do you know how is the impact on run-time memory when antialiasing of primitives is switched on? I had to apply some "cheating" to get antialiased fonts together with offscreen buffer for 1Hz update of the analogue hands for quite a long time, until they recently allowed us to use more memory for bigger displays. I hope this time there won't be such issues on 280x280 devices.
take a look at this thread, as some people have ben trying the AA suff:
https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/f/discussion/235958/ciq-3-2---wow
looks to be no impact on memory if it's on or off
It works really great. The original image (left), full display AA (right). You might click on the image to see it in native resolution to get the feeling. ;)
HI there, I am wondering if the CIQ 3.2 is the app for the apple or android devices toi "steer" the watch... ? sorry for the simple question
Thanks in advance!
