CIQ 3.2 - Wow!

Just installed 3.2 (see https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/b/news-announcements/posts/connect-iq-3-2-now-available),

and in looking at the change log in the SDK README file, a bunch of new features!

Time to start trying stuff!

Just added this at the top of my onUpdate(dc) method:

it not launches on Mac with High Sierra man says resources can not dowloaded error code 33554509

The CIQ team put in some overtime adding a bunch of good features. Now the problem is where to start.

Okay, why does the SDK manager thinks that I agree to install to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\ConnectIQ\ ?

Please allow to specify folder to install such stuff and please specify the size of each element proposed to install.

Now connectiq-sdk-win-3.1.9-2020-06-24-1cc9d3a70 has the size 550 MB due to fonts.

New folder ConnectIQ with all the devices installed is 460 MB. Not too much, but please please specify what are you doing and where it is stored with the size. I do not want to perform search each time.

When you find things like ERA not working, you probably want to do a bug report. Then post a link here for others that have the same issue so they can up vote it to indicate they have the same problem and add detail if needed.

Looks good.

One quibble is that I can no longer specify the file location for the SDK - it all goes on my C: drive which is precisely the drive I want to keep clear of stuff, because it is the smallest and slowest drive I have.

Would be nice to be able to set an install location for the SDK.
