Why won't my app run on my watch when it runs in the simulation perfectly fine?

Hi, 

Check the ERA, it will tell you what is going on, and where is the mistake. 

Im sorry, Im kinda new to this whole thing. Whats the ERA and how do I go about checking it? Thanks

If you use Éclipse, 

On the menu connect IQ, the one you open to export your app or set it in simulator, you will find the ERA, you have to set it with your dev number (open an app from Web and you will find this number on the link bar)

The ERA will tell you which line Goes to error.

If it's your own watch, look in garmin\apps\logs\ciiq_log.yml (or .bak) and you'll see the crash logs.  If you used the ":build for device wizard" and did not check "build release version of project", it will be easier to understand as debug symbols are included.

Okay, thank you. The it generated an Unhandled Exception error. Is this possibly because of an incorrect if statement? If not then what would cause this error. My program is short and simple (about 100 lines) so hopefully I can find the problem. Thanks

With a sideload and "build release version.." unchecked, in ciq_log you'll see details including the line where you WF crashed.  That will help narrow down why it's crashing.
