Menu2 Not Visible on GPSMAP66 in Simulator

I can't get my test code to display a menu2 on the GPSMAP66 in the simulator. The same code works on the Fenix6 in the sim.

The code seems to be functionally running on the GPSMAP66 as I can press the up, down and enter keys which triggers the correct functions. It is just there is no visible display on the device.

Any ideas of what the problem may be? Or areas to look into?

The first thing to do is see if you can reproduce it with something like a sample from the sdk. In this case, the menu2sample.

Then do a bug report (see https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/w/wiki/5/bug-reports-faq for things you want to supply, including a way to reproduce the bug, and a sdk sample makes that very easy)

If the sdk sample works and your code doesn't you'll need to debug your own code, maybe starting with some println calls to see how are you are getting..

Thanks the Menu2Sample seems to fail also. I'll need to instrument it to prove it and upload a bug report, thanks

If The menu2sample also fails, just do a bug report with things like your environment and point to the sample as a way to reproduce the bug.
