Getting an Error when creating an animation

Hi,

I downloaded an animated Gif file and loaded it into monkey motion.

After Generating the file, I get an error message: An unknown error occured begin 0, end -1, length 7

Any hints how to debug this beast?

Hi topcaser, I have not seen this before. Would you be willing to provide the GIF so that we can try to reproduce it?

Thanks - I downloaded the GIF, but I am not having the same issue. Can you give me a few more details? What SDK are you using? What device(s) are you encoding the animation for? Any other options that you specified that were not the default options?

I use the newest SDK: 3.1.7. It doesn't matter which device I am trying to encode for, e. g. FR945. Nothing special, just defaults. To be honest, I followed this guide here: https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/b/news-announcements/posts/bring-your-app-to-life-with-animation

and this doesn't look very complicated.

OK, cool. Would you like to share what you did to get that running? Just asking, since you mentioned that you couldn't reproduce it first

I was not able to reproduce it on a development branch. However, I was able to reproduce it with the released 3.1.7 SDK, which makes me believe the issue was already fixed and should be released with the next SDK. I created a ticket for us to confirm.
