Developer verification process doesn't work

I applied for developer verification 2 weeks ago following the process in https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/b/news-announcements/posts/developer-verification-begins-in-february . I have still not received any confirmation or response from Garmin. I sent an email to [email protected], also received no response.

Garmin, what is going on? 

  • Same for me. I've applied ~4 weeks ago, also sent an email to [email protected] ~2 weeks ago - no response.

    Can anybody help with this?

  • Same for me! It‘s more than a month ago… No email from Garmin…

  • I was grandfathered in when this started (a long time developer), but went ahead and went through the process back in Feb.  It took maybe a week, but at that was before many people even knew about it, and I was pretty easy, as I'm in the US and have had beers at the Summits with the folks processing this. I was still asked for a scan of my Driver's license.

    It wouldn't surprise me if times vary based on where someone is located and how easy it is to verify things like the address supplied on the form

  • Still no response after 3 months. Did anybody else get verified during this time? I don't think it's "based on where someone is located" or anything like this. It seems like the applications got lost or are corrupted or whatever. Are there any official representatives here to check it? I believe 3 months of waiting is a good reason for this.

  • They announced the form had changed a month or so back and you now include your identidty info with the form itself.  I've seen the link for that in a few threads..

  • I got mime approved around Christmas so it took me a bit more than 2 months. I sent a few emails during this time but didn't get any response before the approval.

Still curious why not update people by email, hopefully there was a good reason, but I'm glad there's at least some info. Thanks for all the answers folks!

  • Hi there again, didn't want to resurface, but had to. Seems like the process of verification was implemented in standard CIQ manner. Rolling eyes Please help. 

    1. 2 accounts - didn't get any mail priorit prior suspension. (I see that third was recently deleted completely by Garmin because of inactivity even with active app on it... Thinking)
    2. For both filled questionary where I provided my info. 
    3. No info what so ever about current status on developer pages. 
    4. Even the apps which are blocked from appearing on CIQ Store has no info with them apart usual status "approved". (!!!)
    5. I was requested to upload my I.D. to some microsoft server (the first relevant email I got!). In the mail there is conveniently table with UUIDs and email. 
      1. Trying to login with first account email to garmin.account.box.com site - the site tells me that email (same as in the table from email) doesn't exist. I didn't get any other invitation email to "box.com" site. 
      2. email of second account is stating just some prehistoric username. On microsoft site, neither that or actual email of that account works for the login. (For that username it even tells me that the account is already blocked for login on this site). 
    6. How do I upload that I.D.s? Did I missed some other registration message to that microsoft site?

    EDIT: It is even funnier! I found my app from that third deleted account still active and listed under account of somebody else!! Fearful Classic CIQ *** show. Please block me completely already, I can't cope with such incompetence.... SobSob
