Dear developers, can one of you create a basic bike bell? Just a button to press and my garmin edge 1030 would be ringing continuously to warn people on my way, until button is pressed again.

It wouldn't be loud enough. Nor would it sound like a bell.
When my garmin beeps for any reason all around hear it and then look at me so I guess it is loud enough
Best idea I've ever heard! Will try :)
That would be so great. I can't stand riding with guys with the beeps on, it's so noisy, it would be perfect to turn this annoying sound in something useful!
Me too! In the evening I will make it!

The problem here is that beeps have to be turned on in the system settings in order for a CIQ app to use them.
So if you want to use a hypothetical bike bell app, you're gonna be annoying people with other beeps as well.
Hey everyone,
I've just finished making the bike bell feature! It’s a data field, so you can add it to your workout screens. The interesting part (which might be a pro or a con, depending on how you see it ) is that the bell rings automatically. It will ring when you're moving between 1 and 3 meters per second. This means it only rings when you're moving slowly, like when there are people in your way. But it won’t ring when you're stopped, like at an intersection or traffic light. So, if you want the bell to ring, just cruise between 1 and 3 meters per second .
Feel free to reach out if you need any fine-tuning on the speed thresholds; I can adjust it quickly.
The data field will be available soon; it’s just waiting for Garmin’s approval .
Idk if your app is for Edge devices, watches, or both, but Edge data fields can accept user input (via touch), unlike data fields on watches.
Oookay, I try to resolve this.
I did it, but I couldn't test in my simulator because it was insensitive for touches. Please test it and write me if something wrong.
I'll share the link as soon as possible... I am waiting for Garmin approval.
