Hello,
As many here, I wonder when will Garmin produce/implement a widget or a functionality to control a GoPro remotely. GoPro has opened his source code something so...come on...just work on it. this would be a nice added value.
Thanks.

I made an app for my Fenix 7X with the system 7 (QIC 5.0) sdk and beta 16.10 firmware and it works!
Got a pair/bond done on my gopro 12 and shutter on/off command send.
Now waiting for a good working simulator…
I notice theres already a hotkey (for supported watches) called GoPro Camera Control, not sure if everybody have it, i have it (im in beta enrollment) however seems it does nothing on click.
Will the Garmin…
My first try co connect and control
Connect IQ Store | Free Watch Faces and Apps | Garmin
16.22 for Fenix 7 series does not to have it this is why i said i hope Garmin will bring it to the next round of betas.

Will you expand the watch compatibility list?
I would like to test your app, I'm using FR965 and GP12
Good job but can't access it... I have a Epix Pro 2 and GP11 Black
Added support in version 0.0.4
Still can't see it on connect iq
Epic Pro 51mm was missing, added support now
Ok. Found it!
I developed a datafield for System7 + touch screen enabled Edge devices (so, right now, only 840 and 1040) : https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/63934bd9-08ab-4d65-91be-a14a3eb99c74
Probably still a lot of bugs to uncover as I could only test on a 1040 + GoPro Hero 9 but it's promising !
1040/GoPro 12 - Was able to do the initial connection, but then the datafield crashed almost immediately. Restarted the edge, and when I tried to have the datafield connnect, it says "Searching for gopro 905" and at the bottom just keeps restating "found device with name: gopro 0905".
Went into the settings in ConnectIQ and found that it has the camera ID as 905. Tried to change it to 0905, and after saving it immediately reverted to 905 again. So I think that's my current issue with why I can't connect with the gopro. Any thoughts? I've done some quick searches and can't find how to force the gopro to change its ID number so I can try something without a leading 0...
