Is there a Play Music or YouTube Music app in the pipes?

Has anyone made progress developing an independent or official Google Play Music or YouTube Music app to go alongside the existing Amazon Music, Deezer and Spotify options?

Yes Garmin. I have Forerunner 245 Music and I honestly dont understand why this model, being a "Music" specific model, is not actually supported, since it supports all other major platforms.

It's made worse that Google are preventing alternatives like Songlate in the meantime. Either rollout YTM for older devices or allow 3rd parties to support them.
