Good morning,

I just need to know if we can use UART communication for BLE communication

between a watch vivoactive and a rapsberry ?

But that's not supported on a vivoactive until the va3m and va4.

please i have a question? to use the CIQPI source code and generate BLE do we absolutely need the NRF dongle? if yes why please? we are using a classique BLE dongle. When we try with a classic dongle to simulate the BLE it doesnt work

I've only used the Nordic Dongle and the nRF52-dk. With both, you must flash code to them so they can work with CIQ (see https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/w/wiki/19/getting-started-with-connect-iq-ble-development)

The Nordic Dongle is about $10US. If you don't have one, you can still test using sideloads to a watch that supports CIQ BLE.
