Auxiliary Heart Rate data field compatibility modification

Hi,

I would really like to use the Auxiliary Heart Rate data field on my FR945, but sadly it is not supported. Since the FR935 is supported, I suppose this is merely a question of adding the device to the manifest.xml file (though I can of course be mistaken). I'm a past developer that hasn't coded in a few years so technically I suppose I could try to change the manifest myself, but seeing as setting up the environment may take me a while, jim_m_58 gave me the idea of asking around here if anyone who is an active Connect IQ developer would be happy to help and post a newer version on the store (with the proper credits to the original developer of course).

Yeah, it sounds similar to the Stryd Zones bug - users added Stryd Zones to one activity, but it became active in all activities. Maybe you should file a bug in the bug reports section.

Yes, and he told me he heard that this happens after firmware update, and I remember now that exactly in the past few days I saw a popup about it. Deleted the DF and installed again, now it works!

For CIQ stuff, the best thing to do is contact the developer. If you report things like this to Garmin, they don't have the source code for the app, so things could take longer.

I love the AuxHR data field and most of the time it "proves" the OHR is correct for me, but every now and then I run a Polar OH1+ alongside using the AuxHR data field and it shows differences which, sods law, are ones I'd like to correct because they screw up my analysis of how hard a run has been etc. Is there any way post-run using an online tool or similar to flip the datafields in the .fit file so that the data recorded in AuxHR can over-write the data already in the HR field? I know I could choose to let the device either use OHR or external HR, but most of the time I do want to see both when I use both just to provide that benchmark. And it's only on fewer occasions still that I'd actually want to flip the two fields because the external one is more accurate than the other. I've not found an online manipulation tool to make it happen though so thought those here might have an insight?
