To minimize occurrence of this issue, might want to do some of these tasks.
But, I forgot to save it only
Ah, yes. I almost discarded a run the other day. I looked at my watch because it wanted to confirm if I wanted to discard the activity. It's hard to focus on these tough decisions in the middle of an intense run.
I accidently deleted an activity (SUP). I managed to get the file with recuva, but I can't upload it on Garmin Connect (file not supported)
Can you try to fix the file :
Some fit files can be fixed by FIT File Tools, using the section remover without any adjustments. The result can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect Web using the Import Data page. I tested your file, so this works. Then change the activity type from "Other" to "Stand Up Paddleboarding."
Not sure if that is all of it. So might need Former Member
Thanks a lot ! Your are right, it looks like the last 80% of the activity got lost in the fix process. The original file size is 38 kB and the fixed one is only 8kB
Is there any way to fix the corrupt timestamp (looks like there is an issue there, that's the error I got when trying to fix it on garmin.stevegordon.co.uk/
Or to split the file into two distinct activities (I don't care if it's split, I'd only like to get the data for the missing part) ?
I found the missing activity but i cannot upload it to garmin connect
