Our engineering team is actively working on this issue. It has been given a high priority and we hope to have a permanent solution available soon.
A workaround that worked for me was change one of the planned workouts a little (added 1sec to a training) and then is wants to upload all planned workouts again. This solved the problem for me at least…
The solution is much simpler, and was mentioned many times in this thread, as well as in many other ones about similar topics. Simply add any dummy workout (it can be completely unrelated to the coach…
Update: As suggested by one of the post, I added one second to tomorrow’s schedule run on my Garmin app and synced again. Now the workouts for the rest of this week show up in the training calendar my…
Can I ask you how you did that? When I open the phone app and my agenda, I see my training schedule. But I don't see how i can send this to my 235... The only thing I can do is make manually a separate workout per day of my training calender and then send it to my 235 (the only "send to my device" function in the app... But it's very hard to have to re-enter manually every training day of my schedule in a workout...
My workouts are being synced automatically when I sync my 230. I am not doing any additional steps.
There is some confusion here. The feature that breaks periodically is the ability to send a training plan to the device. Workouts may sync but a calendar-based training plan doesn't. Calendar-based training plans sync when you select "Send to Device" from the app or website. The problem is that that the "Send to Device" option disappears periodically and for long periods of time.
Yep, that is correct! Workouts sync but calendar-based plan don't... That's the whole frustration...
I am scheduling my workouts using the calendar online on the Garmin Connect website, then using the phone app to download them so they appear in my daily Training on my 230. Is that what you mean by "calendar-based" plan?
Strange, I do exactly the same thing: I made a training program on the Connect web site (i picked a marathon schedule, entered the date of the competition and I got a nice schedule, that also appears in my agenda). But even in my phone app I don't see the "send to device" button... My 235 is now 3 years old. Possible that Garmin doesn't support my 235 any more? (so I have to buy a new one??)
There is no button, it just automatically syncs the training calendar when my watch syncs. I have the 230, which I think is the same as the 235 without the HR. I can try what you are doing and see what happens when I get home. I don't have my Garmin with me right now. :-) I have an iPhone, if that makes a difference...
Thanks... mmm... I have an android phone (Nokia).
The photo is what the online Garmin calendar shows after I apply the training plan, that the new workouts are ready to be synced to my Garmin. Do you see this on your calendar?
