Our engineering team is actively working on this issue. It has been given a high priority and we hope to have a permanent solution available soon.
A workaround that worked for me was change one of the planned workouts a little (added 1sec to a training) and then is wants to upload all planned workouts again. This solved the problem for me at least…
The solution is much simpler, and was mentioned many times in this thread, as well as in many other ones about similar topics. Simply add any dummy workout (it can be completely unrelated to the coach…
Update: As suggested by one of the post, I added one second to tomorrow’s schedule run on my Garmin app and synced again. Now the workouts for the rest of this week show up in the training calendar my…
Thank you. That worked for me on FR620.
Same here with VA3, THANK YOU 3909529 as the work around you suggested worked! (Same as suggested by Sam_mcd).
Potential work around, I've been using Fenix 3 HR and only 3 weeks of a training plan was being sent to the device and the option to sync the entire calendar disappeared.
Solution, on the pc app, manually move the plan forward or back by a day or two, then re-sync the device. It should update the calendar
Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately, for me it’s not working. I have a Forerunner 45.
My syncing stopped (AGAIN) and this work around did the trick. It's not terribly hard to change the date of the scheduled training plan but it is annoying and completely ridiculous that Garmin can't get this to work.
This has been a problem now for years. Garmin knows about it. It comes and goes. They fix it (or it fixes itself) and then it reappears. This is not rocket science. This is sync. The original ipod was able to sync. My Briefcase in Windows 98 was able to sync. The Palm Pilot was able to sync. This is not new tech. Why is Garmin failing to figure this out? This should be a priority now and should take precedence over adding any new features to Garmin Connect.
There are a lot of options to Garmin products. Yet when I bought my current watch, I didn't consider any of them, in part because of familiarity with Garmin Connect. If Garmin Connect can't get the basics right then that's one more reason to consider a competitor for my next watch.
I notice a few things about this issue. I have 2 Garmin devices. Garmin Instinct and FR620. The Garmin Instinct is syncronizing ok with no issues. However the FR620 it not showing anything added by the training plan. If I create a manual activity with the exact same steps as the one created with the training plan it appears ok on the watch.
I did same as a lot of people. Hard reset, removing .FIT files but the problem is not related to the sync itself, it's about how the Garmin Connect page is dealing with what data should be pushed to watches and what should not.
By the time that it still open on this forum I think Garmin will never fixed it. Maybe when they release a new Garmin Connect version.
Thanks for sharing this. It's working for me on Fenix 3 HR
I'm having the same issue. It seems to have reappeared.
Thank you, it worked
Hi was this issue ever worked out. I'm half way through my training plan and now workouts will not load to my watch.
