Sync problems: Training calendar runs don't show up, workouts don't sync at all

For the past few weeks I've been unable to get my training plan from Garmin Connect to show up correctly on my Forerunner 235. When I navigate on the watch to "Training Calendar", it says to download your training calendar from Garmin Connect. I've tried this a gazillion times. I've wiped the entire watch back to factory settings multiple times, I've canceled and deleted my training plans and restarted with a different plan... without fail, none of the workouts show up in the training calendar on the watch. They are, however, hiding in the workouts section.

I've also discovered that new workouts that I make online with Garmin Connect aren't being synced. I've specifically gone into the app, selected the individual workout, sent it to the device, and Garmin Connect says it worked, the watch shows a transfer successfully finishes... no new workouts.

Anyone else having similar issues? And any idea how to fix it? I'm getting frustrated, the calendar view on the watch is key to keeping me on track.

    i can not sync my training plan with my 945.

    in watch it still show  sync with  garmin connect mobile  to next workout.

    But my watch and mobile, it connect already.

    Why it not sync?

    I also cannot sync my coached runs. Nothing I try sends the benchmark run to my watch. Super annoyed as I just shelled out $350+ for the 245 today.

  • I was unable to download Garmin training to my Fenix 6 pro yesterday, even though I had no problem doing so for first couple of weeks owning the watch. I'm pretty sure that the program was on the watch yesterday morning but not yesterday afternoon. I did a hardwire sync/update with computer in between--not sure if that was the issue. I have tried updating/syncing many times since but no luck.

  • Just to follow up. I posted about this problem yesterday, and managed to get the program to download today. Not sure whether that was due to an update from Garmin or to pausing the Garmin coach plan and then resuming, which was suggested in another thread.

  • Another follow up. I again today had to pause Garmin coach and immediately resume the program and then sync the watch with the phone to get the phone to download today's workout to my watch.

    I am struggling with the same issue on my Fenix 5.

    I cannot get my training calendar to appear on the watch itself. I too have built, selected, and sent specific workouts to the device; sync complete... and no workouts available on the watch. Frustrating for that kind of coin and lost time trying to work this out.
