UPDATE - We have identified the issue and the fix has been submitted to Apple. This fix will come in the next Garmin Connect Mobile update (4.25.1) and is scheduled to be released by next week.
This was resolved in the latest version of the Garmin Connect App (4.25.1).
We are aware of the issue with the Edge 510/810 and not syncing. We are working on a resolution and I will provide an update when one is available. The current workaround is to sync with Garmin Express…

My iPhone is up to date, the firmware on my edge is on the latest version 6.30.

Seriously hoping for a fix for this problem, because I'm already done with uploading every activity to my laptop using a cable..
The reason I choose for Garmin years ago was the easy way of uploading data to my phone..

Well, I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one having this problem. Yesterday and today’s activities impossible to sync. The connection seems to be fine but the activity sync always fails (I get the red exclamation mark you can see on the image). Tried almost everything: unpair device, uninstall app, reboot both devices, master reset on Edge... nothing worked! I hope this is an app issue soon to be fixed
Seems to me that this is an app problem. Before last update last week everything worked fine. Let’s hope for a quick new update
This is having the same issue now as was 4 years ago. Have tried Master Reset, Unpairing, Pairing. Just erroring each time it tries to Sync. Think it's needing a new release of the Connect App? ios13.2.2 / Edge810. Worked seamlessly until recently, where initially it was logging me out of connect the whole time and now this.
