Garmin connect keeps logging out since last update iOS

Ever since the last update 3 days ago, Garmin connect keeps logging me out of my mobile app and I have to reconnect and re-sync my Fenix5 with the app. It is very frustrating.
I am on an iPhone 11pro and all software up to date.

Ok...you didn't specify to start with the power off. I did the hard reset as described with the power off and that worked for me. Thanks!

Have you noticed that the hard reset affected your phone in other ways?

I tried this with my phone turned off

    “Press & release volume up

    Press & release volume down

Press & hold power/lock until Apple logo appears then release”

This did *not* help, this morning I had to log in again to Garmin Connect and add my watch again...

It also failed for me agin this morning.

I have contacted Garmin support again Rolling eyes

I’m sure it’s the Connect app that’s at fault & requires a bug fix, but at least it worked for a while.

I’ve just noticed that if you skip the setup prompt when you open the app, it went straight in and synced first time. Not saying it’ll work every time but it couldn’t find my watch, so pressed skip, it went to the dashboard, pressed sync and it worked. Worth a shot.

Same here, very frustrating, just bought Garmin Fenix 5s plus but Garmin connect does not perform efficiently, furthermore many apps can not be downloaded, or at least I do not succede in sending them to the watch... very irritating such a lost of time

Same here 11 Pro with fenix 5 Plus.

It logs me out, and it forgets my watch.  I have to log in, then repair my watch, very frustrating, just moving from Android.

I cleared the cache on my iPhone XR and that fixed the problem....

I tested it by shutting my iPhone off after I did this. Next time I started it up it went right into the app without requiring sign in or pairing...

How to clear cache on iPhone & iPad
    1. Open Settings.
    2. Swipe down and tap Safari.
    3. Swipe down again and tap Clear History and Website Data, tap it once again to confirm.

How does clearing safari data clear the cache for the app?!
