Ever since the last update 3 days ago, Garmin connect keeps logging me out of my mobile app and I have to reconnect and re-sync my Fenix5 with the app. It is very frustrating.
I am on an iPhone 11pro and all software up to date.

  • Hi everybody, can you update app rating in AppStore? I don’t know how long I need wait for this fix :/ Maybe if all users set one star in AppStore something is hapend...

    • Dunno TBH apart from a post further up this thread that suggested they were, but I have emailed them personally.
Sadly the Connect customer support dept are on Hols 28/29th Nov, and even then quote a week or so to reply, so don’t hold your breath on a fix (if they are working on oneRolling eyes which allegedly they are Thinking)
  • 4 Garmin devices to re install everyday on connect. I’m so over Garmin's software.

I have had a reply from Garmin connect support.

Basically I’ve cleared the cache on my iPhone11pro & all seems to be working normally again.

    “Press & release volume up

    Press & release volume down

Press & hold power/lock until Apple logo appears then release”

Similarly clearing cache on older iPhones should help. The exact method depends on which iPhone generation it is.

So following this procedure your Connect app is no longer logs you out when you power down and then power up your phone?

iPhone 8P does not have this feature -- can only 'clear the cache' of specific apps. I offloaded the app (deleted the app but kept the data) and then re-installed it but am still having the problem. Others above have deleted and reinstalled the app (I presume with the data as well) and it's still happening. Glad it worked for you.

    Yes it does.
It’s just an iOS hard reset.
Garmin called it a cache clear.
same process on an iPhone 8
