I’m currently trying to install Spotify to Connect IQ. Once I click install I just get a message that the “install is queued”. It appears as though it is unable to download. My phone is currently connected to WiFi.

I have a VivoActive 3 music paired with a iPhone XR. I have downloaded the Spotify app through Garmin connect and set everything up, but when I go through Garmin connect to login to my Spotify it takes me all the way to where I accept the terms and conditions and says an error has occurred. I know this can’t be because of a password or email error because I tried logging in and out to my Spotify account on my phone several times and it worked.

After literal hours of trying everything I finally had my issue solved by clearing the cache in Spotify

My issues (Fenix 5s plus with latest Android )

    - playlists wouldn't update - sync failed

    - new playlists wouldn't install - sync failed

    - couldn't remove the only playlist that was working - would get stuck on removing

Updated watch by connect software, removed and re-added wifi network, forced update of all music tracks (sync failed), multiple resets of watch. Tried all of these steps multiple times

Eventually installed Spotify by connect iq, but then when I tried to reinstall, it would say installing and just go back to uninstalled

Found this forum, cleared cache in Spotify and viola , app installed and now music is re-downloading!!

I have Forerunner 245 music , once I want to link up with sportify, the apps always said have problem to login.

  • Hi Andrew ! Yes it works for me ! Just by tipping on "cancel" after the log failure, and then repress for 2 sec the "down" button, I can access to my playlist !

Thanks a lot, bug happens Wink

  • Same issue here with a Felix 6x. Had Spotify for months, went to update the watch, poof it and deeper are gone. Was able to load amazon music, but Spotify and deeper both appear as loaded from the IQ app but do not appear when I look thru the watch.

  • I have the fenix 6x

    • the Spotify and deeper apps both stopped showing up on my watch about 3 days ago, after a sync up.
    • I attempted to uninstall and reinstall, that did not work.
    • The apps show in the connect app as installed but they do not appear on the watch. Additionally, the app now will not let me uninstall.
    • I am using an iPhone 10 and AirPods
    • just updated to the most recent firmware on watch
