Hi - Forerunner 245 Music and Nexus phone. Have been using Spotify successfully on the watch for 8 months but today it suddenly disappeared. Tried reinstalling Spotify with no success.

Spotify still appears as my music app in Connect. I've tried syncing, turning off/on etc several times but still no success.

    It just.....vanished! Weird

  • Thank you for your thorough post and the detailed information you provided, we are really sorry for the frustrating experience you're having with the watch. My first recommendation would be to install any software updates available using Garmin Express. Software updates do typically occur through the Garmin Connect App, however, you may have items in your sync queue preventing the software update from downloading successfully. Using Garmin Express should clear that up.

Once the device has been updated, you can try syncing your Spotify content again. You may need to remove and re-add your home Wi-Fi network to the watch.

If that doesn't get it working, please contact Product Support for direct assistance.

  • The issue with the error message "There was a problem getting you signed in" will be fixed with the release of a new version of Garmin Connect App coming soon.
Some users have been successful with the work around of tapping "Cancel," then opening Spotify on the watch to access music.
We are sorry for the inconvenience and frustration and thank you for your patience.
