Spotify CIQ App not working correctly

    I had the spotify app on my forerunner 945 for a week prior, and one morning it wouldn't play music or skip songs or anything. Decided to reset and remove app. Had some difficulty deleting the app off the watch, finally deleted spotify off Garmin IQ also. Now I can't even download spotify on garmin IQ. Sits in queue and stops after a while. All other app and music apps downloaded fine during this time.

    My Spotify account was connected and now when it pairs with my wireless headphones it won’t actually play anything

    Wont let me download the spotify app from the store

  • Thank you for reporting this. Please use steps in the following article to sync Spotify content to your watch, Instructions to Sync Spotify Music to a fenix 6 Pro or Sapphire Series Watch. If it still isn't working for you, please send me a PM providing the following details so we can investigate this further: 

    • What is happening? (e.g. failing during setup, sync failure, playback failure, etc.)
    • What kind of phone are you using? 
    • Android or iOS?
    • What kind of headphones are you using?
    • What Garmin Device do you have?
    • What firmware version do you have on your watch?
    • When was the last time Spotify worked correctly?
    • Does the problem only happen with a specific Audio File?
    • Are you using a Public Wi-Fi connection? (Using a Wi-Fi Device on a Captive Portal)

    1. I have a Fenix 5S and using apple phone.  Spotify was working fine 2 weeks ago. When I check my Garmin app it’s saying The is no music app installed but in connect IQ it says it is installed. 

    They connect over the same home Wifi. 

    Earphones no longer connecting to phone either

    I just got the vivoactive 4. Can't access Spotify. Android phone. Very discouraging as this was one of the main reasons I purchased the watch. Not a good first experience with Garmin. When will this be corrected?

    I just bought a new Forerunner 245 music watch and it will not allow me to download or synch with Spotify. It requires an update to the Spotify app from the Connect app but the download never finishes. I have a brand new iPhone 11.

    This is a terrible first experience with Garmin. Will be returning if not resolved.

    Mine is downloaded but there is nowhere to log in and it doesn’t seem to be syncing 

  • Garmin 245 won't connect to Aftershokz earphones.

    Nokia 5 TA1024. Android. Last worked 1 week ago
