The work around you suggested does not work. I paid hundreds of dollars extra specifically to be able to use Spotify. If this is not fixed, I will be forced to request a refund and get an apple watch.

also having the same issue- suggesting work around does not work.

  • I've also had the frustrating login error like many others in the thread, but now got the workaround proposal working anyway. What made a difference for me was to log into my Spotify account, select Settings, Storage and Clear the cache. After that, I got the suggested workaround (select Cancel after the Signing in-error message) to work. Maybe worth a try!

Hello I have recently purchased a garmin Fenix 5s plus and it however doesn’t work when I try connect my deezer/Spotify account I have purchased both premium, this has continuously not worked for me I have tried everything ? I really hope that there is a solution other then the ones we are given because I have tried my best to sort the problem. It would be awesome to go outside without a mobile phone having to be wiv is for our music instead the watch could possibly be handy, I am afraid that I will possibly get a refund if this isn’t a fixed Issue in the next couple of days I wasn’t aware on this watches on how they work but I really do hope the problem can be fixed soon !

I’ve used my watch with Spotify for a year or so, and it have worked just fine. But since a one month I can not use the app no more. When I try to update my playlist it’s just searing for WIFI-connection without finding anything. But if I connect to WIFI from the settings it is no problem.

Now I’ve reset my watch and start all over again hoping that would solve the problem. But this time I can’t login to Spotify.

I’m using an iPhone, Fenix 5plus and Jaybird X3.

I have a vivomusic Garmin with the same problem with not connecting to Spotify. This is really frustrating and your suggested work-around DOES NOT WORK. Hitting cancel and then opening Spotify from the watch doesn't work. Really disappointing and I definitely would not recommend to anyone to get this watch. Way over-priced and too frustrating with all the glitches I have encountered. Please fix asap.
