Garmin needs to make a sleep tracking device for Epix and Fenix users, anyone else agree?

Can Garmin make an updated Vivosmart 5 or some kind of comfortable device for sleep and non activity wearing.  I just bought the Epix2 and love it, but there is no way I can sleep with this on my wrist.  I am a whoop user as well and love the simplicity of the band but hate that it doesn't share any data with Garmin.

For that reason, I wish Garmin would come out with a band similar to Vivosmart 4 that would work together with the Epix.

Does Garmin read these forums??  I'm not the first to ask this!!!

  • I have the Epix Gen 2 and wearing it at night is annoying.

I attach my watch to the ankle in the night. It continues to monitor all the metrics fine, while letting my wrist free.

  • I wish that they would make a ring like the Oura ring. Something comfortable for bed and when a watch might be either difficult to wear, or you want to wear something fancy. Something with the basics (steps, HR, sleep tracking) to sync back into your Garmin data. I don’t necessarily mind wearing the watch to bed, but there could definitely be better form factors for that. Also, i think the weight and possible movement of the fenix/epix is going to skew the data a bit, so something lighter or more fixed (on a finger) would probably be more accurate

  • In my opinion, Garmin needs to reduce their devices considerably and improve their after-sales service. It is a shame that Garmin sells products with dozens of software errors, they are basically half-baked and keep releasing more and more products. To release a new product, the manufacturer must have stability in the software, and I didn't even mention the Connect app that keeps crashing, supposedly "for maintenance."
