Tried the steps above. No impact. Still can’t can’t make it through day just operating as a normal watch.

If you can't figure out what's causing the drain can you at least roll the software back? I had zero issues with 7.70

I have the same issue. Haven't been for a run or swim or anything.  Only clock and step tracker on and watch drains in 24 hours! Until now has been lasting around a week. Please help!?!

Same here. A rollback to 7.7 didnt help. Maybe Garmin wants us to buy new watches and did this in purpose. Sorry Garmin, i will not buy any new Garmin watches until you fix this

you can go back to the old version 7.70. I did it. copy this instalation file to the garmin (connect via USB cable - windows explorer) and disconnect. Firmaware is going automatically
