Vivoactive 3 Update 7.80

Garmin Spain contacted with me, with the obvious suggestions abouts apps, backlight... having the watch as it came , it only last 12 hours of battery. I have to charge it twice a day!!, only after 30 months of normal use.

Hi,  same problem here. Hard reset did not help.  Battery drain in less than 12 hours. Garmin, we need this issue to be fixed!!

same boat here and no solution by Garmin. Only advice do not by a garmin smartwatch until they fix this issue

Same here. Without this being fixed I've moved back to an old vivofit as the watch is useless.

Finding the same issue, battery drain significant since 7.80, having to charge up to 3 times in a day losing 7-9% battery per hour

Just and update.  Garmin Spain is asking  90,54 € plus shipping to fix the problem. This is not serius.

Same problem here.  If Garmin cannot/won't fix it I will need to replace it.  I've been waiting for a real fix for months. 

I was a Garmin fan-boy recommending others in search of an activity watch to purchase Garmin, touting it's features and benefits.  My replacement will be anything but Garmin.  I will advise others of my experience with Garmin & their support when asked to recommend a watch.  A 350 USD watch should not be relegated to the trash after 2 years.  Really disappointing.
