Hi there, I suddenly have a white 'dead spot' on my watch screen. Nothing happened per say and I want to know what other peoples experiences were with having it repaired. Were you charged out of warranty?

I've been in touch with Garmin. My watch is being replaced.
Update:
Garmin responded and sent me postage to send the watch to their service center. A week after I sent my watch to Garmin I received a replacement unit. No hassle, no questions just plain good service…
It's a dodgy batch. Seems to happen between 4 and 7 months after purchase. Just contact Garmin if it's still in warranty and they replace it free of charge.
This seems to happen to other watches as well. My Forerunner 245 Music developed a similar spot, only on the opposite site (near the light button/ 50 second mark). I have contacted Garmin support, as this seems to me a hardware failure.
[edit]: Garmin support sent me a new watch.
Can anyone from Garmin provide feedback on this? I have a dot too on my Garmin Music Active 3
I send my to Garmin for repair, got a new one.
As I said before all this white spots are water leakages. If the watch is in warranty contact Garmin they will replace it for a refurbished one (it works in my case) If not in warranty the good new is that if you take out this water the screen still working perfectly. Put the watch in to a box cover with rice and it will take out humidity and hopefully it will works... good luck
Water leakages are not likely for my watch. I don't swim or shower with it. My watch is now at Garmin Suppprt and will be replaced, as it is only 4 months old.
