1) In what country are you located? Greece
2) May we have permission to reach out to you via email? YES
3) May we, if necessary, have permission to view your Connect account? YES
Mine has been doing the same. I am in New Zealand
There clearly is a serious problem with the watch turning off, pages and pages of people all reporting the same issue. Both my wife and I have several Garmin devices and enjoy using them but this issue, on my wife's watch, and the way Garmin is dealing (or not dealing with it) is very off putting. If you have a hardware issue then please put your hand up and say so and find a way forward for the customers affected. If it can be fixed in software and your are working on this issue please let us know. Being fobbed off like this is not the best way of dealing with your customers. Garmin please help!
Hi everyone - after trying everything else, I both reset my watch to factory settings AND deleted the Garmin Connect app from my phone, then re-downloaded it. It may just be co-incidence, but my watch worked fine on my run this morning. Please let us all know if this works for you.
I tried this and it worked fine on my first run and on my next run it turned off 5 times within 7 minutes
I spoke to Garmin via the chat on their website, I shared this forum thread, and they have said I can send my watch back and get a replacement (although I don't know if this will actually help)
