Version 13.10 - Missing Vo2 Max or Performance Condition

Ever sine I loaded V13.10 a couple of days ago,I have lost Performance Condition. It no longer shows in my ride summaries on Garmin Connect ( website and Android are both missing). Nor do I get a Performance condition indication on the 1030 which usually happens in the first 8 minutes. Also today, for the first time in 2 years, the 1030 turned off after about 1hr 10 min s into the ride.

We are aware of this and actively investigating the cause of the problem. I will update here when I have more information. I apologize for any inconvenience has caused.

Lost performance condition also what I have been experiencing since 12.63. In addition, VO2 max. value is also missing along with it.

Well, eventually 5 days in, Garmin say they have finally raised an internal error report. You'll be unimpressed to know that none of your efforts so far achieved anything. Until I spent over an hour pissing about sending them loads of files off my 1030. They were quite clear that it was only my case that caused this to happen!

The process here is grossly inefficient and antediluvian.

Why on earth don't they have test rigs for all their devices?

No wonder they're losing market share (or so I hear)

They did this for me yesterday:

"I have now created a Product Support Case with the information you have provided to us.

Please be patient whilst we investigate the issue you are experiencing and we will be in touch with any updates as soon as possible. "

WORKAROUND

I've rolled back my 1030 to version 12.20 which is has brought back performance condition for the time being - the file is in the 13.10 Beta download - available here www8.garmin.com/.../download_details.jsp

Same issue for me :( That's unacceptable for a released firmware update. Such a basic shortcoming should not even be in a Beta version!

I was thinking of doing this but does it reset the device settings to all the defaults? Do have set it all up again or loose any data?

Interesting, that would mean though that they adapted the 12.20 backup file. Because up till now, reinstalling 12.20 was not possible on my device. Fingers crossed...

Do this process and it keeps most of it, although the odometer reset to zero, and it needs to duo a few rides to re calculate your VO2 max and therefore your training load.
