heart rate values totally wrong after update 18.22

did a run today with my forerunner 955 (update version 18.22 from today):

first km slow: pace 6:04 min/km, av. heart rate 151

then 5 km fast with pace 4:51 min/km; av. heart rate 133 ?? (my common hear rate at that pace should be 180-190)
a sudden drop of the heart rate appeared approximately at the change of pace

  • Hi I also updated to 18.22 and the HR reading gone bonkers altogether. I did warm up before my race today and did tighten my watch before the race but the HR did not go over 142 for a 5k race, attached is my pace and the reading.

and here is another race I did before the update few weeks back and the readings.

can you please check and advise on this?

  • The behaviour of the optical heart rate sensor after the update to 18.22 is still bad.

  • me too, my heart rate data is totally erratic after update to 18.22 (whereas I have no problem with 18.21 beta version)

  •  v18.22 here and I should flood the thread with another awful HR screenshot but we're still there. OHR readings are erratic on 18.22 yet.

In my case in a matter of 30 seconds HR chart switch from 125 to 160bpm.

You already have access to my activities.

Point being that you can access thousand of activities and you have not been able to fix this issue which has been there for months, and it seems it'll be there for more.

  • If I dont get an answer here from whats the next step please? I really need to get this sorted as my training gone bonkers now Disappointed

  • A half marathon race wearing HRM-Pro ended up with the heart rate chart as above since 18.22 update. Something is wrong.

  • Same issue here... I have problems since 18.xx, but the most with 18.22. Too less my rate.

  • IMHO, the HRM chest strap problem has nothing to do with the OHR problem described here.

I sometimes face this with the Polar H10 sensor as well, but that's a different story.

  • The same problem by me, i have noticed it after the last 18.22 update, first 3,5 minutes slow ride on a bike trainer is the heart rate higher during the warm-up than during the entire really exhausting training :D (measured from my wrist, FR955 Solar)

  • All,

Thank you very much for the examples you've provided here so far. I'm very sorry that the update did not resolve most of your OHR concerns. In order to look into your individual activities further and officially add you to our investigation, please answer the following:
