Hi all,
Same route, same road, same distance.
The route length is 7K.
But what I notice in running is that the GPS decreases the distance as I speed up and increases it as I slow down.
What is your opinion?

Turn off 3d distance.
People here are trying to help, normally it doesn't encourage anyone to help if you're reacting like that.
These stupid questions are right questions. Just read a bit how GPS systems work, how…
What GPS setting did you have it on? It can make a big difference.
The 955 has five different GPS settings, and they each behave very differently.
I would export both of the GPX files from Connect on the web, and load them on here to see where the differences appear
That could definitely cause the discrepancy.

These stupid questions are right questions. Just read a bit how GPS systems work, how reliable they are and why weather might matter a lot, your location (high buildings) trees) matter a lot and why you shall turn off that crappy setting of 3d speed, I really don't understand why it is on by default on new devices.
Ps And 955 is so far the best (at least top-2 ) device speaking of signal reception reliability/ position accuracy that I had. I owned around 6 models and 9-10 devices. Might be incorrect impression though
Thank you for the feedback. You're right about that.
But it is necessary to go one step above the stereotypical questions. Because a person who reports a GPS problem is someone who is obsessed with GPS and knows how to use it well.
It has been a different obsession for me to try the researches and combinations I have been doing on GPS for many years. So as someone who has been using Garmin, Polar and Suunto for 10 years, you can be sure that I know the GPS settings, menus and combinations very well.
I opened it to try a different combination setting in a new run because I had some experiments with 3D Speed off. I normally keep it off.
In addition; mygpsfiles.com was a good address for the comparisons I made on this subject. I would like to thank @rmullin08 for this opportunity.
Also, while the distance run with 3D speed on yesterday was 7.64K, today I turned it off and the distance run was 7.28. The correct distance is 7.0K
Today I will compare the 2 routes on mygpsfiles.com and see.
