Heart rate issues on fw 14.15

after updating to firmware 14.15 I have had multiple multiple bugs with my heart rate during workouts. This started after 14.13, but continued in 14.15 and got worse. In 14.13, and beyond the issues started with my heart rate being low on treadmill run activities. At a piece of around 7 1/2 minutes from mile. My heart rate should be around 150 to 155. On these firmware’s, it was in the 140s. It also takes over 5 minutes to get to that 140 range. Today in a tempo run activity after 15 minutes at that pace. I sped up to around 5:45 minutes per mile. My heart rate stayed in the 150 range for the entire time until around 15 out of 20 minutes. It should be in the 170 range at that pace. This bug messed up my recovery time, training, load, training, suggestions, and almost everything related to heart rate.

  • I use the 955 with 2 pulse bands, Garmin pro + and Shanren Beat 20, with the Garmin since fw 14.08 I observe that at certain times the pulse it shows is higher than the real one. With the Shanren with fw 14.15 there are many cuts in the pulse reading and the watch is continually reconnecting, it is clear that there is a problem with the pulse reading in these last fw´s.

  • I notice a lot of errrors too (10-20 higher bpm) on FW 14.15, expecially on the training start

  • I have the same issue. Also My HR sensor is showing another color of leds then we had in the past.

  • This bug makes most other features on the watch absolutely useless!

I have tested on outdoor run, treadmill run and bicycle activities and see similar behavior where HR refuses to climb past 80-100 bpm whereby suunto and Fitbit HR monitors pegged me at 140-170 bpm.

additionally stopping the activity, saving, restarting the watch and entering into a new activity will create a jump in HR measured by up to 30 bpm (I rest for the entire time I am performing this sequence)

definitely a disappointment considering the price and prestige this forerunner series is afforded.

  • Everything seems to be back to normal with 15.11

     Can anyone confirm please?

  • I've had issues with HR dropping out recently (not sure if it started after updating to the 15.x betas). I use a paired chest strap with ANT+ connection. I'll post some screenshots in a bit.
