Random freezing

Anyone else getting random freezing? Only started this week but twice now I’ve looked at the watch to find it’s still showing an old time. On closer inspection the whole watch has frozen and all I can do is a reboot.

First screen freeze occurred last night while sleeping. Software 14.2. Some combination of holding the upper left button for restart and charging seems to have corrected

It happens to me sometimes that while using loaded routes to follow while hiking, suddenly the watch suddenly turns off and then after 20 seconds or so it restarts and I have to restart the activity by pressing start and then everything works again.

My Garmin Forerunner 955 solar is doing the same. Is there any updates on this issue please?

Over the past week, it has frozen about 5 or 6 times.
I live in Cyprus and its currently 31 degrees Celcius.
It's a solar watch so surely the heat cannot be the issue.
I purchased this watch a few months ago to aid my training for a marathon I am running in 4 months time.
It's really upsetting me that I have to keep re-booting it. Especially when I am half way through a run and it just freezes.

Very annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have the same issue and have contacted Garmin about it. They said that it's a known issue, and the recommended solution is to replace the watch.
