Forerunner 255 Series and 955 Series: Cannot edit heart rate zones percentages

Since I got my 955, I cannot edit the percentages of heart rate zones. It allow me to enter a value but never saved.

Same behavior from the watch, and from Garmin Connect mobile.

Anybody else with same behavior ?

We believe that we have a fix for this report that will be rolling out with the next software release for this device. While I do not have a timetable for this release, I will be updating this thread…

We are in the process of releasing 12.23 production software. If you experience this battery drain after installing the 12.23 sw update, please start a new thread.

It seems to use the base zones btw, editing those also seems to edit the running ones. So that might be a workaround (maybe need to remove the running…

Yes, you can edit the general zone but not the sport specific ones. Also annoying that you can only see the percentages and not the corresponding heartrate values...

Thanks but it looks like a bug. I was still able to do it a few weeks ago with my Fenix 6

Same here, did not have this issue on the 945 nor 935. The percentage to the LTHR on 955 on running and cycling (which is 5% pt shifted from the running) depends on the general HR Zone.

i also have the 955 and are not able to set it up right.

on the 945 i used %LDHS for running and cycling.

if is switsch to use BPM on cycling (standard %LDHS) and try to change the values the highest i can select is 113bpm.

Hello,

On my side is not posible to edit the heart rate zones on garmin connect, only on the device (FR955), my previous devide FR245M allowed me to change them in the app.

Same here also, can’t understand why something as important as HR wasn’t tested when the watch went into production. Doesn’t expect this from a high end Forerunner but hopefully they fix it soon.
