After updating your watch to the recently released software containing a fix for this report, you will also want to ensure that you have your heart rate zones set correctly. This will ensure that the data displayed in your "Time in Zones" section of your Activity Summary accurately reflects what is being used to actually calculate the Training Effect for the activity.
Hi Garmin Kevin. I am experiencing this issue with firmware 11.60. Because of this, the suggested training is always "base", because any "base" training is considered "tempo" (which in turn, ends up in a non optimal range for the "low aerobic" Load category). My heart rate zones are Ok.

BrightScully When I checked your account, your Garmin Connect profile shows that your watch is still on 11.10, not 11.60. Please sync your watch with Garmin Express.
This report was resolved with the 11.60 software update. If you are still experiencing this on 11.60 or later software, please start a new thread.
