I've figured out that for myself, non-standard (i.e. Connect IQ) watch faces have a significant impact on day-to-day battery usage. And then, on top of that, if you use a frequently updated data field on a watch face (i.e. seconds and/or HR) then that has another layer of impact. This isn't news I know, but it bears repeating in threads like this.
In my experience, it's the difference and .2-.3% per hour, and .7-.9% per hour. That's with about 1 to 1.5 hours of GPS usage in a day, and BT connected 24/7.
