SW 3.90: 50%more Battery drain

again in this Firmware Release the Battery Drain is very high, more or less 50% more then usual before, use everything with standard settings as delivered, only Spo2 Measurement during night, instead of 7-8% battery drain a day i have now 16-19% a day!

Made hard reset, but didn't help!

First of all i must say, that battery drain with firmware 3.30 was very, very good. with 8-10 activities of about 45 minutes the watch worked with one cyclus about 2 weeks. And there was no difference…

I was in the first wave of updates to 3.90, and so far I'm not seeing anything unusual on battery drain. After 40 hours since my last charge, I have 90.7% battery remaining. I haven't used the watch for any activities, but have worn it continuously. Standard settings, AFIK.

On 3.30 I was getting 5.7% per hour when using gps+glonass & HR strap, and 0.4% on otherwise. Now on 3.90 I get 4.6% per hour on gps +glonass & HR strap, and a whopping 1.8% otherwise. What the hell garmin?

Don´t know if 50% more but I also noticed fater battery draining after 3.90 update...

Yep I am seeing a higher battery consumption as well after 3.90 update. Looking at my average rate since last charge I am getting around 7 days per charge. On 3.30 it was around 9 days.

Same here... with 3.3 battery drain was about 0.4 %/hr, now with 3.9 I'm around 5.5 %/hr.

This is a huge difference.

In my case it is slightly better with 3.90, approx 0.31%/hr versus 0.37%/hr with 3.77, as per Batter widget.

I am seeing slightly improved battery use over 3.3 and 3.77 (which was slightly up), it is currently averaging 0.240 %/hr.
