Hourly alert

Wow is it BAD on the 945! My 935 would occasionally give me an off alert, like 8:59, but with this watch it happens every day, often more than once a day! And those are just the ones that I am looking at. They are more than just a minute off too. Today I saw 7:14. Really? And my watch shows the correct time so that's not it.

Wow, I remember starting a thread about it a while ago and I think it was for a 935. They still haven't fixed this?

Nope! My 935 did the same thing and my 945 is still doing it. It's very random and it mostly gives the right time alert, but at least a few times a week I get an odd time. Sometimes it's just a minute off and sometimes it's 10-15 minutes off!

I am going to guess here but I think that the Garmin OS is polling- instead of interrupt-based. So sometimes it seems that it "stalls" and it doesn't poll button-states, exact clock times etc. I have always find the behaviour kinda "random" ...
