I know there's a separate thread on headsets, but I thought I'd ask a more specific question on AirPods. They don't seem to work well on other Garmins, but I'm hoping they work well with the 945. Would love any feedback on both the original AirPods as well as the AirPod 2.
I have just got a 945. The watch crashes every time I search for the. Emailed support, they have said that they don't support them and I should buy some new headphones!

Using original airpods. Indoor and outdoors on left wrist. So far so good. Occasional pop or click but no dropouts. Very happy with the compatibility. Especially when I think back to how awful it was when the 645 music first launched.
I've got the original AirPods and have put in about a dozen runs ranging from 3-6 miles without a single drop while wearing the watch on my left hand. The watch did say it received a software update and a bluetooth update when I first set it up - running 2.40 and BT 3.50
