Apple AirPods work?

I know there's a separate thread on headsets, but I thought I'd ask a more specific question on AirPods. They don't seem to work well on other Garmins, but I'm hoping they work well with the 945. Would love any feedback on both the original AirPods as well as the AirPod 2.

Garmin, come on, fix this. You make great products but you need to solve issues faster. There is clearly a bug, why should the watch freeze and need a restart because it's not able to connect to a bluetooth…

Thanks. Had seen that review. So far so good, but curious about what others say, especially when using the original AirPods (DC used the new ones).

Just paired my (original) Air Pods and am listening to some stuff from Deezer. Have also changed the volume. Good so far then.

I have just got a 945. The watch crashes every time I search for the. Emailed support, they have said that they don't support them and I should buy some new headphones!

Using original airpods. Indoor and outdoors on left wrist. So far so good. Occasional pop or click but no dropouts. Very happy with the compatibility. Especially when I think back to how awful it was when the 645 music first launched.

I've got the original AirPods and have put in about a dozen runs ranging from 3-6 miles without a single drop while wearing the watch on my left hand. The watch did say it received a software update and a bluetooth update when I first set it up - running 2.40 and BT 3.50
