Cannot Update Wi-Fi Software to 4.01 (13.24)

I purchased a 945 LTE today (new, was still sitting on the shelf)

It had ancient software (version 2,xx) after setting it up via garmin connect and connected it to the wifi, I downloaded a spotify playlist and after that I received software 13.24... and killed the wifi.

I have removed the phone from garmin connect, did a complete wipe of all settings etc. but it just doesn't want to search for wifi anymore (within 1 seconded of searching it says no wifi networks found).

I did enrole just now for the beta program but I guess that the software should work on an older model like the 945 lte.. the sole reason I don't wan't the newest stuff with all the bugfixes and stuff.

But could not post there anymore and had the idea that the sollution with the beta program was hinting on a fix with coming with the realease of 13:24.

Solved!

I did the following:

Installation Instructions

Connect your Forerunner 945 LTE to your computer using the USB cable.
Download and unzip Forerunner945LTE_604Alpha.zip. Place the GUPDATE.GCD file in the Garmin folder of your device's internal storage drive.
Disconnect your device from the computer, approve the update on the watch, and wait for the update to finish.
If you would like to revert to the last public release software, place the GUPDATE-507.GCD file in the \Garmin folder and rename GUPDATE-507.GCD to GUPDATE.GCD. Disconnect the device to install. NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.

And although it did not go back tot the older software, it did update the wifi to 4.01 and it works fine now.

Hi! I have the same problem, WI-FI does not work after the update. Also, the file is not loaded by the link(. Now, I need to find the Forerunner945LTE_604Alpha file.zip, maybe you have this file?

It's strange, but after a while, the software of the WI-FI module updated itself to version 4.01...
